Functions

We are excited to help plan your upcoming function at Ekhidna Wines & Kitchen. We are located at the corner of Kangarilla and Foggo road in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The venue is nestled amongst a Shiraz vineyard planted back in 1952. Our cellar door and restaurant features stunning views over an iconic McLaren Vale landscape.


Our Cellar door and Restaurant comfortably accommodates 50 guests for formal sit down functions or 110 guests for stand up social occasions. Our kitchen is very flexible and along with our chef we will work with you to design the perfect menu for your event.

We offer flexible menu packages, allowing you freedom to plan and design your event. Customers are invited to refine the following packages. It is our goal to ensure you have everything planned exactly how you would like it. Please see over for pricing.


We offer THREE Beverage packages, the pay for consumption package, the ekhidna package and the Eagle package. Please see over for pricing information. Importantly, in addition to making great wine, we brew our own beer and make it available as part of both ‘all inclusive’ packages at no additional cost.
