Our Beer

Over a glass of Shiraz and a Couple of Tapas in our McLaren Vale Cellar door / Restaurant. We were discussing how lucky we were to have such amazing food and wine sitting amongst the vines.

How could it get any better than this !

BEER the mother of all inventions !

Of Course how could we have overlooked the obvious Beer and Cider......Time to start brewing


All of our beers are preservative free and kettle cooked then sterile filtered once fermentation is complete, this ensures there is no 'yeast hulls' or 'lees' in the bottom of the keg. Every glass is consistantly delicious without variation .

The result has been amazing and we have created 7 different beers which we alternate on a regular. Having only two taps at present is proving a challenge but we are constantly bottling our Ekhidna beer. We also have several Happy hours Thurs-Fri 4-6pm and later for our die hard fans.


Currently we are bottling the Ginger beer, wheat beer, Dark Ale and Apple Cider but keeping up with demand is proving difficult so  please be sure to call 08 8323 8496 ahead, just incase we need to kick Matt in the pants !!!
